Earthquake: NASA’s InSight lander automobile data ‘monster quake’ on Mars

MARS (KABC) — NASA launched photographs on Monday displaying what scientists are calling a “monster earthquake” on Mars.

The company says the quake shook the planet Mars on Might 4, the 1,222nd Martian day, or sol, of the mission.

The 5.0 magnitude quake was apparently the biggest temblor ever detected on one other planet.

A magnitude 5.0 quake is a medium-size quake in comparison with these felt on Earth, in response to NASA.
